Obituary
Troy McDonald, aged 71, passed away on Monday May 1, 2023 at his home. He was born February 23, 1952 to Henry Davis and Mary Irene McDonald.
He was a lifelong member of Berea MB Church in Ripley, MS. He was a former employee of Biltrite Corp for over 30 years, until his retirement.
He is survived by his former wife of 40 years, Debbie McDonald, and their three children: two daughters, Donna (Ken) Baxter of Olive Branch, Leslie (Alfred) Watts, and one son Bradley McDonald, both of Ripley. Six grandchildren: Maija White, India Howard, Josh Miller, Isaiah Howard, Braylen McDonald, and Asa Howard. Four great grandchildren: Princeton Hooks, Karter Rutherford, Braxton Howard, and Nola Jones. Two brothers: John Earl McDonald of Ripley, and Charles McDonald of Holly Springs. Three sisters: Ethel Mae Burress, Margrette Gene Braddock, and Linda Faye McDonald, all of Ripley. A host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Marvin O. McDonald.
Visitation will be Monday, May 8, 2023, from 12p-8p with the family present from 6p-8p at Foster & Son Funeral Home, Ripley, MS. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 2p at Bethlehem MBC in Falkner, MS. Interment will follow
at White Oak Cemetery, Ripley, MS.
