Rolland A Ross

Rolland Aubrey Ross, age 81, was born on June 5, 1941, to TC and Lucretia Ross. He passed away peacefully in his home on December 23, 2022. He had many accomplishments in his lifetime.

After graduating high school and completing two years of college he decided to join the Army where he fought in Vietnam and later became a Purple Heart recipient and Vietnam veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Birdie Ross. One daughter: Missy Ross and one son: Clifford Garner. Five grandchildren, four great grandchildren. One brother, Wallace Ross and a host of nieces, nephews, sister and brother in laws, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 12p-7p at Foster & Son Funeral Home in Ripley, MS with the family present from 5p-7p. Funeral service will be Friday, January 6, 2023, 11am at Bethlehem MBC, Falkner, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will follow at Corinth National Cemetery, Corinth, MS.
