Marcus Gleen Obituary

Marcus Santal Gleen was born October 14, 1992 in New Albany, MS to Barbara Gleen-Yancey and to the late Willie O'Neal Carroll. Marcus departed his life on February 26, 2021 at his home. Marcus accepted Jesus Christ at a early age and joined Bethlehem Baptist Church in Falkner, MS.

Marcus leaves behind his mother, Barbara Gleen Yancey, step-father, Walter Yancey, Godmother, Cheryl Godwin, Godfather, Tom (Erica) Jackson all of Ripley, MS. One sister, Myeshia Gleen of Ripley, MS. Two godsisters, Ladresha (Jake) Jackson-Swinford and Kadeji "Dee Dee" Jackson . Two godbrothers, Dejun (Stashia) Jackson and Tom Jackson all of Blue Mountain, MS. Two aunts, Easter Boyd and Sharon Vance both of Ripley, MS. Three uncles, Don Vance and James Vance of Ripley, MS and Billy Joe Vance of Memphis, TN.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2021 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Foster Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley, MS. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 5, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Falkner, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Ruckersville Cemetery, Falkner, MS.
