Mrs. Johnnie Ruth Palmer entered this world on September 12, 1949,in Ripley,Ms; she was born to the late Earnest Rainer and the late Eula Lee Rainer. She is the oldest of 9 children, she leaves 7 siblings to carry on Earnest (Deborah) Rainer of Falkner, Ms; Albert (Ann) Rainer of Tiplersville, Ms; Linda (Larry) Boyd; Paula (Rev, James) Elliott of Jackson, Tn; Paulette (Lawrence) Edgeston of Falkner, Ms; Stella (Marshall) Strong of Falkner, Ms & Donnie Rainer of Falkner, Ms.

She accepted Christ at an early age, she attended Bethlehem Baptist Church where she served on several committes until her health declined. She remained a proud member of Bethlehem until her passing.

God called her home on Thurssday, March 16, 2023. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 52 1/2 years , Henry L. Palmer of Tiplersville,Ms; 3 daughters, LeaLea (Rodney) King of Corinth, Ms , Staconey Palmer of Tiplersville,Ms & Natasha Palmer Spears of Falkner,Ms, 1 Bonus daughter, Constance Palmer of Milwaukee,WI. and 1 honorary daughter, Christina Elder of Ripley, Ms; 3 sons, Fred (LaToya) Middlebrooks of Booneville,Ms , Nile (Danielle) Palmer of Falkner, Ms & Nathan Palmer of Tiplersville, Ms.

She was a proud grandmother and leaves behind 12 Grandchildren, Corio Palmer, Tyler Palmer, Jordan Palmer, Diamond Spears, Ava Palmer, Alyssa Palmer, Adrian Palmer, William Middlebrooks, Jessica Ivy, Quineshia Dillard, Karesa Dillard, Quintez Dillard; a bonus grandson Deshun Tyus & 2 honorary Granddaughters, Alleigh Clemmer & Emma Elder. She leaves a host of nieces and nephews that she thought the world of.

She is proceded in death by her father, Earnest Rainer; her mother Eula Lee Rainer; 1 sister Shirley Rainer; 2 grandmother Mattie Rainer & Nan Rucker.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 12p-6p at Foster & Son Funeral Home, Ripley, MS. Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023, 2p at Bethlehem MBC, Falkner, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will follow at Ruckersville Cemetery, Falkner, MS.
