Joe M Edgeston

Mr. Joe M. Edgeston, 76, was born on September 5, 1942 to the late Hershel and Bertese Crum Edgeston in Ripley, MS. He departed his earthly home on April 24, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS.

Mr. Edgeston attended school in Ripley, MS. He was a devout Jehovah Witness. Throughout his life, he was a hard worker and he retired as a GM. He loved to build, fish, hunt, and cook. He loved his family and his “class clown” personality would light up any room.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  son, DeShawn Edgeston; grandchildren, Marlin Edgeston and Marlissia Edgeston; siblings: Frank Edgeston, Beverly Edgeston, Phillip Edgeston, and J.L. Bell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 29, 2019 from 12:00 noon- 6:00 pm at Foster and Son Funeral Home in Ripley, MS. Service will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Foster and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service.
