Essie R Edgeston

Essie Rea Edgeston age 84, was born March 29, 1938, to the late James and Beaula Edgeston in Falkner, MS. She quietly answered the masters call on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. She served as a faithful member and missionary at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Falkner, MS until her health failed.

She leaves to cherish her memories four children. Louis Edgeston Jr, Al (Lameisha) Edgeston and Vivan Edgeston all of Falkner, MS and Stacy (Greg) Hines of Tiplersville, MS. Nine grandchildren, one broth- er; Rev. John (Lily Mae) Edgeston, two sisters; Charlene Johnson and Mattie Edgeston all of Ripley, MS as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2023, from 12p-7p at Foster and Son Funeral Home, Ripley, MS with the family present from 5p-7p. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 7, 2023, 11am, at Bethlehem MBC, Falkner, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will follow at Ruckersvile Cemetery, Falkner, MS.
