Elder Harry Frank Barton, Sr., 66, was born on June 21, 1954 to Joann and the late John E. Barton in Kossuth, MS. He departed his earthly life on October 11, 2020 at his home.
Elder Harry accepted Christ at House of Prayer and Deliverance "Power House" in the late 80s under the late Bishop Charlie Milton. He later became a member and Associate Pastor at Christ Is Life Ministry where he served until his transition. He previously worked at Biltrite, Blue Mountain Production, Ashley Furniture. He worked for J&A Management until death.
He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Joann Barton; children, Tommy (Tiffany) Johnson, Rochelle (Kizzy) Moore, and Harry Barton, Jr.; sisters: Lottie Siner, Mya Barton, Breta Barton, and Ceela (Wallace) Jones; brothers, Willie (Carolyn) Barton, Michael Barton, and Basil Barton; sister-in-laws: Alice Faye Hines, Rita Spight, Charlene (Ted) Luster, and Patricia (Charles) Stricklin; brother-in-laws: Claudie (Ruby) Johnson, Howard (Jean) Mitchell, and Robert (Ellie) Evans; and a host of grandchildren, goddaughters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, October 16, 2020 at Foster & Son Funeral Home in Ripley, MS from 5pm-7pm. Service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 3pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Faulkner, MS. Interment will follow at Ruckersville Cemetery in Faulkner, MS.
