Charleen Mitchell

Charleen Mitchell, age 57, was born on July 15, 1965, in Tippah County, MS to the late German and Canary Edgeston. She transitioned this life on December 23, 2022.

She was married to Oliver Mitchell. Sheconfessed to Christ at an early age.She attended Walnut High School. She loved to cook and worked as a cook at different restaurants.

She leaves her cherished memories to her sons; Shannon Edgeston and Kelin Edgeston Sr. of Tiplersville, MS. Seven grandchildren. Three brothers: Billy (Patsy) Simpson, LQ Edgeston of Tiplersville, MS. Mycus (Rosa) Edgeston of Ripley, MS. Two sisters: Delios Edgeston of Ohio, and Jeanelle Bogard of Ripley, MS., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 12p-6p at Foster and Son Funeral Home, Ripley, MS. Funeral Service will be Monday, January 16, 2023, 12p at Foster and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Ripley, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service at the chapel. Interment will follow at Hopkins Cemetery, Walnut, MS.
