Obituary

Anthony was born in Memphis, TN where he attended school and eventually worked as a Veterinary Technician at a local veterinarian clinic. He later did a short stay in the military. Anthony showed an early love for animals, electronics, and home remodeling. His life's work was as handyman.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory Siblings: Deborah Echels, Paula (James) Taylor of Pflugerville, TX, Benita Echels of Pflugerville, TX, and Timothy Echels of Ripley, MS; by Aunts and Uncles: Ida Foster Wilson of Holly Springs, MS, Homer (Margareet) Foster of St. Louis, MO; by Nieces: Crystal Rosen of Meridian, ID, Corinna Echels Odom of Memphis, TN, Sarita Taylor of Pflugerville, TX; by Nephew: Lyndon Echels; by his loving Bonus Family: Terri (Jessie) Precious, Tajesston Shakira, Jayceon, Re’zean; by special friend: Pandora Gray; and by a host of grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, associates, and friends.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents Douglas and Sarah Echels; and by Aunts and Uncles: Willie (Estell) Foster, Tom Wilson, Palmer (Ethell) Foster, Luther (Clarsteen) Foster, Mary Alice Foster, Demus Echols, Lee A. Echols, Izella (William) Scott, and Mason Storey.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 2pm at Foster and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley, MS.
