On Tuesday, October 17th, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. our beloved Sis. Annie Pearl Simmons Foster went to receive her eternal reward. Annie was born on February 11, 1959, in Tippah County, MS to the late Joe Allen Simmons and Aline Cook Simmons.
She was a 1979, graduate of Blue Mountain High School and later became an alumni of
Northeast Community College where she received her Associate's Degree in Child Care Development. She accepted Christ at an early age at Cotton Plant True Bible Way, then later moved her membership to Love Praise Tabernacle Holiness Church where she served on the Usher Board, Pastor's Aid Committee, Church Secretary, Finance Committee, Choir Member, Sunday School teacher and as a Deacon's Wife. On June 19, 1995, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Deacon Robert Charles Foster.
She leaves to cherish memories: Her beloved husband of 28 years,
Deacon Robert Charles Foster of Cotton Plant, MS, (3) Sisters: Joyce (Jerry) Venson, Loyce (Hayes) Penson, Lisa (Billy) Stokes all of Cotton Plant, MS. 2 Brothers Pete (Georgia) Mosley of Racine, WI and Lee Jr. Mosley of Cotton Plant, MS., and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2023, from 12p-7p at Foster & Son Funeral Home, Ripley, MS with the family present from 5p-7p. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 21, 2023, 2p at New Birth Community Church, New Albany, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will follow at Mosley Chapel Cemetery, Cotton Plant, MS.
