Willie H Prather

Willie H. Prather, 79,  was born on May 2, 1939 to the late Edgar and Lee Ammon Prather in Tippah County. He went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2019 at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley, MS.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Shirley Faye Bell Prather; eight children: Lisa Prather Crum of Falkner, MS, Terry (Lupa) Prather of Milwaukee, WI, Michael (Lisa) Prather, Donnel (Apprecia) Prather, Willona (Deontey) Brown all of Ripley, MS, Dominique Prather of McComb, IL, Demontrez Prather of Oxford, MS, Handsome Prather of Ripley, MS and Lorraine McCory of Corinth, MS; fifteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 12:00 noon-6:00 pm at Foster and Son Funeral Home in Ripley, MS. Service will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Christ Victory MBC in Falkner, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service.
