Patrick D Rainer

Patrick Donnell Rainer, 41, was born on January 7, 1978 to Bobby Nell Rainer and Curtis Prather in Falkner, MS. He departed his earthly life on October 17, 2019 at home in Falkner, MS.

Patrick was raised in the Falkner, Mississippi area and graduated from Falkner High School. He played football during his high school career. Patrick became a father shortly after graduating and began working in the manufacturing industry to support his new and growing family. He was an amazing father to all of his children and did the best he could to protect and raise them. Patrick did not spend his entire life in Mississippi. He lived in Tennessee for nearly four years with his wife, Sierra Bumpas, and his children. Throughout his life, he remained a loyal Florida Gator supporter, even in his last days. Though Patrick battled long and hard with Liposarcoma, it eventually took his life. Liposarcoma did not win the war. Patrick died happy and fought to the end. His energy, humor, personality, loving nature and wisdom will be missed always.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Sierra Bumpas; children, Shayanna Rainer, Hali Rainer, Uriah Bumpas, Aiden Rainer, Adalyn Rainer, and Jeremiah Rainer; parents: Bobby Nell Rainer and Curtis Prather; siblings: Nicole (Micheal) Adams, Curtisa Prather (Earnest Price), Shannon Edgeston, Bryant Johnson, and Ereka Mullins; and a host of family and friends.

He is preceded in death by: Helen Rainer (Charlie Rainer), Ozean Prather, Scottie Mitchell, Eddie Rainer, and Albert Prather.

The family wishes that all donations go towards the children of Patrick Rainer or a research fundraiser for Liposarcoma.
