Mother Lou Pearl Williams was born May 10, 1938 to the late proud parents of Mr. Brody and May Hattie Williams. She was the second child of three beautiful daughters.
On September 27, 2018, Mother Williams departed her earthly home at New Albany Health and Rehab in New Albany, MS. She fought a great fight and the Lord knew her work on Earth was done.
Mother Williams was not the one to complain about anything. When asked how she was doing, she would always say I AM BLESSED! She was a saved woman of God and a faithful member of Greater Divine Faith Harvest Ministries until her health began to fail. She was a woman of various roles including a church member, sister, aunt, grandmother, and mother in love.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four daughters: Lou (James) Vance, Tiffy (Jerome) Triplett, Lexie Garner all of Ripley, MS and Jewel (Mark) Franklin of Martin, TN; four sons: Larry (Linda) Boyd of Falkner, MS, Frederick (Shirley) Triplett of Tupelo, MS, Ron (Sherese) Triplett of Atlanta, GA and James (Lisa) Tripplett of Ripley, MS; twenty-three grandchildren; and two sisters, Marsha Lene McKenzie of New Albany, MS and Mattie Bryant of Hammond, IN.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Foster and Son Funeral Home in Ripley, MS. Service will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at St. James COGIC in Ripley, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Saints Rest Cemetery in Ripley, MS. To view and sign the guest registry, please visit www.fosterandsonfuneralhome.com
