J.T. Robert Earl

J.T. Robert Earl was born August 8, 1952 to the late Everlena Bell Earl and Mr. Thurston Cox. He gained his Heavenly wings on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley, MS.

J.T. accepted Christ at an early age and joined Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ. J.T. was hardworking, loving, outgoing, and very outspoken. He was loved and respected. He will be dearly missed by many. He loved and cared for his mother until her death in 1995. He was a passionate member of St. John Masonic Lodge #334. Also, he mowed yards for local residents.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife of twenty-two years, Mary Elizabeth Earl of Ripley, MS; brother, William (Norma J) Cox of Battle Creek, MI; two sisters, Bessie Cole and Emily (Sam) Patterson of Battle Creek, MI; five step-children:  Pamela Edgeston, Stevie Edgeston, Corey Edgeston, Billy Edgeston, and Melissa Edgeston all of Ripley, MS; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mrs. Everlena Bell Earl and Mr. Thurston Cox; and sister, Rena Cox.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 from 12 noon – 8 pm at Foster and Son Funeral Home in Ripley, MS.  Service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 3 pm at Foster and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service.  Interment will follow at Ripley Cemetery in Ripley, MS.  Services entrusted to Foster and Son Funeral Home of Ripley, MS.
