Frank Jr. Stricklin, 51, was born October 22, 1966 to the late Martha Jean Rutherford and Frank Henry Stricklin in Blue Mountain, MS. He departed this life on October 16, 2017.

Frank belonged to Beulah Land Baptist Church of Blue Mountain, MS. He graduated from Blue Mountain High School and he later attended NEMCC. He worked at Benchcraft Furniture Factory for 16 years.

There never was a sad time with him. No matter how bad your day was, his comfort and laughter would always brighten your day. He was a sweet, loving, and kind-hearted soul. He was a friend    you needed one, a comforter when you were down and a helping hand. Laughter was his medicine for you. There will never be another one like him.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of eighteen years, Willona Stricklin; two daughters: Terrica Adams of Tupelo, MS and Courtney Shay Jackson of New Albany, MS; two brothers: Ken (Lora) Stricklin and David Stricklin of Blue Mountain, MS; two nephews: RaShun Adams of Ripley, MS and Trevario McClinton of Blue Mountain, MS; three nieces: Kendra Stricklin, LaDreka Washington of Blue Mountain, MS, and LaKedra (Alex) Crum of Verona, MS; two special sister-in-laws: Anola Stricklin of Hickory Flat, MS and Martha Hobson of Ripley, MS; special goddaughter, Vanessa Edgeston of Portland, OR; in-laws, Vera Adams and John McDonald of Ripley, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Martha Jean Rutherford and Frank Henry Stricklin; and grandparents: Alice Rutherford, Charlie Rutherford, Daisy Pearl Stricklin, and Frank Stricklin.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 9 am – 11 am at Foster and Son Funeral Home in Ripley, MS.  Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 21 at 11 am at Foster and Son Funeral Home in Ripley, MS.
