Emma Alexander, 95, was born on August 22, 1922 in Chalybeate, MS to John and Viola Conner. On April 14, 2018, Emma departed this life at her home in Middleton, TN.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children: John Alexander, Beatrice Andrews, of St. Louis, MO, Frances Story Johnson of Olympia Fields, IL, Annie (Henry) Kinsey of Bolingbrook, IL, Elrose Jackson, James (Cherita) Alexander, Mildred Harris of Middleton, TN, Teresea (Rodney) Holmes of Zion, IL, and Joyce Alexander of Chicago, IL; sister, Dora Marcell of Chicago, IL; 43 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; 44 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 from 4pm-7pm at Middleton Pentecostal Tabernacle in Middleton, TN. Services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11am at Middleton Pentecostal Tabernacle in Middleton, TN. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Middleton City Cemetery in Middleton, TN. Services entrusted to Foster and Son Funeral Home of Ripley, MS.
