Clifford Rucker, Jr.

Clifford Rucker, 56, was born on March 18th, 1962 to the late Tommie Rucker and Genie Ruth Carter. He departed this life on February 14th, 2019 at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley, MS.

On December 24th, 1993 he united in holy matrimony to Jacqueline Johnson. He was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church were he served as Deacon, Brotherhood Commitee , Transportation Committee, Stedfast Choir, SureSong Ensemble and a proud member of The Gospelaires of Ripley, Mississippi for over 20 years. Deacon Rucker leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife of 25 years, Mrs Jacqueline Rucker of Ripley, MS; son, Shamontae (Tanesha) Johnson of Ripley, MS; fourteen sisters and five brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 12 noon to 8 pm at Foster and Son Funeral Home in Ripley, MS; with the family present from 6 pm to 8 pm. Service will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 at 2pm at Bethlehem MBC in Falkner, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service.
