Broddie L. "Pete" Alexander

Broddie Lee "Pete" Alexander, 87, was born April 2, 1931 in Tippah County, MS. He went home to be with the Lord on August 14, 2018.

Broddie attended Akin Chapel Church. Later on, he moved his membership to Coleman Temple Church. He attended school at Adkins Chapel and worked at The Peoples Bank and had his own lawn service.

He was well known throughout the county as a devoted husband and father.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Joan Alexander of Ripley, MS;our daughters: Katie Norman of Atlanta, GA, Marchelle Alexander of Corinth, MS, Vicki (Herbert) Anderson of Ripley, MS and Alma (Early) Alexander of Grand Junction, TN; son, Reginald Starks of Corinth, MS; two sisters: Reba Ellison of Jacksonville, FL and Eunice Lexia Hill of Blue Mountain, MS; four grandchildren: Rashad Norman of Ripley, MS, Jessica Alexander Brown of Ripley, MS, Stephon Anderson of Ripley, MS, and Tishia Robertson of Bolivar, TN; eight great-grandkids. Visitation will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 from 12:00 noon- 7:00 pm at Foster and Son Funeral Home in Ripley, MS. Service will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10:00 am at Flatwood Grove Church in Blue Mountain, MS. Interment will follow at Adkins Chapel Cemetery in Blue Mountain, MS.
