Annie L Rogers

Annie L. Rogers, 62, was born October 1, 1955 to the late Normal Gene Coleman and Dorthy B. Coleman Cox. She departed her earthly home on June 29, 2018.

She received Christ as her personal Savior at a young age and was baptized into the family of Ripley Second Baptist Church. In the year of 1976, she married Walter E. Rogers and to this union one child was born, Georgia A. Rogers.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Walter E. Rogers of Blue Mountain, MS; one daughter, Georgia A. Rogers of Tupelo, MS; two grandsons: Elijah O' Neal Daniel and Dorien Duanta Jones of Tupelo, MS; five sisters: Dorothy J. Norton, Synthia A. Coleman, Stacy (Shane) Morgan, Geraldine (Timothy) Young, and Lillie (Excell) Turner all of Ripley, MS; four brothers: Sammie L. Coleman of Ripley, MS, Jimmy Coleman of Memphis, TN, Jerry O'Neal Cox of Ripley, MS and Bishop George A. (Pastor Rhonda) Cox of Tupelo, MS; one aunt, Verlena Hardin of Memphis, TN; one uncle: Jimmy Evans of Seattle, WA; and special friends: Stella Batie of Corinth, MS, Jo Johnson, Lonnie Robinson, and Jimmy Dale Smith all of Ripley, MS.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 from 12:00 noon-8:00 pm at Foster and Son Funeral Home of Ripley, MS, with the family present from 6 pm- 8 pm. Service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 1 pm at Ripley Second Baptist Church in Ripley, MS. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion in Ripley, MS .
